2025 Annual Report

Despite facing federal headwinds and political uncertainty around climate action, PCFO deepened its roots and built on its work in 2025. PCFO expanded to 54 member communities representing 45% of Ohioans, launched its first-ever Climate Action Planning Cohort, and provided comprehensive technical assistance to communities across the state. Highlighted by major events like the Cincinnati Sustainability Tour and Ashtabula County Sustainability Summit, PCFO and member communities continued to show that local action is the clearest path toward our clean energy future.

2024 Annual Report

In 2024, PCFO hit a major milestone — welcoming its 50th member community — while delivering over 2,400 hours of technical assistance and helping Ohio communities access $290 million in federal funding through direct support. From Lima's groundbreaking floating solar project to Cuyahoga County's $129 million Climate Pollution Reduction Grant, PCFO proved that local governments are more than ready to lead the clean energy transition. At the Clean Energy Champions Awards, communities and local leaders were celebrated for their outstanding achievements in clean energy and climate action.
