2025 Cincinnati Sustainability Tour
In November of 2025, PCFO was proud to join the City of Cincinnati in hosting its first-ever Sustainability Tour. Attendees enjoyed a lunch program with remarks from Ollie Kroner, Director of the Office of Environment and Sustainability, Councilmembers Meeka Owens and Mark Jeffreys, and PCFO Executive Director Joe Flarida.
Following the program, participants set out on two tour routes showcasing green infrastructure and community resilience projects across the city. Highlights included the Center Hill Landfill, the future home of a major solar installation, the Lick Run Greenway, a transformative stormwater project revitalizing Mill Creek and expanding community green space, and an overview of how anaerobic digestion technology converts organic waste into energy.
Cincinnati continues to distinguish itself as a leader in sustainability, demonstrating how bold vision, community partnership, and innovative infrastructure can move a city toward a cleaner, more resilient future.
