PCFO IGAP Q2 Grants Forecast Presentation and Recording
PCFO hosted the IGAP Q2 Grants Forecast for our member communities on March 7, 2024. This detailed and informative Zoom event brought together different communities to discuss potential grant opportunities. The main discussion topics were the EPACommunity Change Grants and the DOT Charging and Fueling Infrastructure (CFI) Grants.
The event also fostered engaging discussions among attendees. Communities shared their thoughts and experiences with the grants, leading to a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities of these grant applications. EPA Community Change Grants
Watch Katie Lee from Nutter Consulting as she presents a comprehensive overview of the Environmental and Climate Justice Community Change Grants program. In this informative session, Katie highlights the available grant amount of approximately $2 billion and how these funds aim to benefit disadvantaged communities. She thoroughly discusses the program's objectives, which include reducing pollution, bolstering climate resilience, and building community capacity to address environmental and climate justice challenges.
Charging and Fueling Infrastructure (CFI) Grants
Emily Pape of the Electrification Coalition presented valuable information about the Charging and Fueling Infrastructure Grant Program. This program offers funding for the strategic deployment of publicly accessible electric vehicle charging infrastructure and other alternative fueling infrastructure. The program includes two tracks: Corridor Charging for infrastructure along designated alternative fuel corridors and Community Charging for infrastructure in publicly accessible locations, focusing on rural and low-to-moderate income areas. Emily's presentation provided essential insights into this grant opportunity.
